  • Indore’s AI Startup Secures Rs 30 Cr Seed Funding: Website Creation In Minutes With A Simple Prompt; Singapore Firms Invest In Innovation

An AI startup from Indore has secured Rs 30 crore in seed funding from two major companies in Singapore. The startup, OneTab AI, was founded in 2022 and has developed over 15 AI models so far. The funds will be used to expand the team, upgrade technology, and grow the business.

Founded by AI entrepreneurs

The startup OneTab AI was founded by Saket Dandotia, Sonal Dandotia, and Alok Patil. Saket Dandotia is also the co-founder of VideoVerse, another AI-based startup that received Rs 332 crore funding three years ago.

Received funding last Saturday

According to Harish Chauhan, a senior AI and Machine Learning Engineer at the company, the startup received funding on Saturday. He said the funds will be used to strengthen the team and improve AI technology.

Started with a small team

OneTab AI started in 2022 with just five people. Its main office is in Indore IT Park. Now, the company has over 15 developers working on AI-based solutions.

What OneTab AI does ?

The startup has created a platform that allows users to manage multiple tasks in one place. The website onetab.ai provides features like ticket management, campaign operations, chatting, API integration, and documentation.

Create a website with just a message

Nayan Harod, AI head at the company, explained how their AI model simplifies IT tasks. For example, if a farmer wants to create a website, instead of hiring developers, they can simply type:

“I need a website for product sales and stock management.”

Within 2–3 minutes, the AI will generate a fully functional website.

The founder of the company is Saket Dandotia.

Automating business management

The startup has also developed an AI model for business management. If a company owner needs to assign tasks to employees, they just have to send a message, and the AI will automate the process and assign work to the right team members.

Developed 8 AI models in 2 years

The company has been researching AI for two years and has developed over 8 in-house AI models, including One API, One Code, One Campaign, and One CSI. These models offer unique features and, in some cases, perform better than ChatGPT.

VideoVerse received Rs 332 crore funding

Saket Dandotia’s previous startup, VideoVerse, raised $47 million (Rs 332 crore) in funding. This company specialises in AI-powered video editing. It can detect key moments in cricket matches, like replays, fours, sixes, outs, and not-outs, and automatically generate video clips. This technology reduces the need for manual editing.

Saket Dandotia’s journey

Saket Dandotia completed his engineering at Medicaps College, Indore, and later pursued an MBA from IIM Indore. He initially worked at an IT company but later quit to launch his own startup.

In 2015, he and his friends started Likites, a web and mobile development company. In 2016, they launched VideoVerse, and in 2022, Saket founded OneTab AI.

What is seed funding?

Seed funding is the initial investment a startup receives to develop its product, conduct market research, and handle marketing expenses. It is the first step in securing financial backing for a new business.
